About Dublin

Map of Ireland with Dublin pin marker

Dublin is a city that is divided and split in half by the river Liffey. Historically the north side of the river has always been seen as the more working class side of Dublin, while south side has always been seen as the more middle and upper class side. Today however this is no longer the case.

Dublin isn't a large city, but it isn't a small city either. In fact, it has often been said that Dublin is the perfect size. Big enough that you will always have something new to do, but small enough that it is easy to navigate and get around, even on foot.

We specialise in quality apartments located across most Dublin postcodes. If you look at a map of the city you will see that it is divided into postcode districts. D1, D2, D3 etc. An odd numbered postcode refers to a district on the north side of the river. An even number post code refers to a district on the south side of the river.

Understanding the Rental Market

The Dublin rental market remains competitive in 2026, with strong demand for well-maintained city centre properties. Average monthly rents for modern apartments typically range as follows (based on current trends):

  • 1-bedroom: around €1,700 > €2,500
  • 2-bedroom: around €2,000 > €3,200+

Prices vary by exact location, building age and features (e.g., balconies, gyms, parking). Newer developments with amenities often command a premium but offer better long-term value and comfort. Of course, city centre renting comes with realities like higher demand and higher costs, but the trade-off is the lifestyle and no suburb commute means more time for what really matters.
